CORONAVIRUS: STAY AT HOME and STAY SAFE.
Things you could do: 1 Send a friend a link from one of my poems and arrange an illustrating competition. Let your parents judge the best illustration. Please don't send me loads of illustrations at the moment. Email this message to your friends.
2 Disinfect your fingers before and after using your keyboard. Let's think of good things to kill corona virus shall we? Don't forget to clean your computer mouse well and also the remote control for your television. Wash your hands when you touch these things in your family home. Think where else you can do these things too if you share a family house. CLEANING YOUR KEYBOARD AND MOUSE Pass on this message to your friends and tell them to pass it on too.
FOR CHILDREN AT HOME: I'll recommend a poem a day here for you to hear at home with your brothers and sisters, or with a skyped friend. You could learn it off by heart and skype your grandparents with a poetry performance and a picture for them.
Poem today: CLICKETY CLACK - You can sing this to grandparents or friends etc - and let them join in with you. How about a picture of a steam-train?
