MR RIGHT
AND MR WRONG

By Josie Whitehead

Mr Right and Mr Wrong

‘It’s right at the traffic lights,’ Mr Wrong said.

It’s left,’ Mr Right said, 'then straight on ahead.’
‘I’m right,’ Mr Wrong said. ‘See here on my map.’
‘Not now,’ Mr Right said.  'Be quiet my dear chap!’

‘But I’m right,’ Mr Wrong said.  ‘We’ve gone the wrong way,
But Right said: ‘You’re wrong for I do know the way.’
Mr Wrong said: ‘All right but you’ll find that you’re wrong’ –
But poor Mr Right had been right all along.

Ah, but then Mr Wrong saw that Right was quite right,
When both of these friends saw their friend’s house in sight.
‘How glad we’ve arrived,’ Mr Right said to Wrong,
‘Though it seems that our journey was awfully long.
