TELL ME WHO

By Josie Whitehead

Tell Me Who

Who circles the moon and then swirls round the stars?
Who brushes the sun and then dashes round Mars?
       Who blows fluffy clouds right across the blue sky
       And then, after this, pauses and gives a big sigh?

Who pushes the aeroplanes hard on their tails,
But for certain can’t get into shells of the snails?

Who turns sails of windmills with strength but with ease
      And whose wintry breath makes us shiver and freeze?

It’s the same one who stirs up the waves on the seas;
Whose cold wintry breath makes us shiver and sneeze
      And after all this, tell me, where might he go?

Well, some folk get wind in their tummy you know.
